Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026
The minimum needed to run a newsletter: your name, your email address, and your subscription status. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — Perch Permits never sees or stores your card number. That's the whole list. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no tracking pixels in the emails.
Your email address is used to deliver the weekly issue and service messages about your subscription (billing, schedule changes, these policies). Nothing else. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone except the service providers needed to operate (Stripe for payments, an email provider for delivery).
The site is plain, static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad scripts. If you click through to Stripe to subscribe, Stripe's own privacy policy applies from that point.
The reports contain information about building permits and zoning applications — addresses, work descriptions, valuations, and applicant/contractor names. All of it comes from government public records that Metro Nashville has already published, and every record carries a reference to its source. Perch Permits adds organization, not surveillance: it collects nothing about these individuals beyond what the public record states.
Removal: anyone named in a report may reply to any issue and will be removed from future issues, no questions asked.
If you cancel, your email address is removed from the delivery list immediately and deleted from records within 90 days, except the transaction history Stripe is required to retain for tax and accounting purposes. You can also request deletion at any time by replying to any issue.
If this policy materially changes, the change will be announced in the weekly issue before it takes effect.
