PERCH PERMITS

Effective date: September 10, 2026. Replaces the terms dated June 12, 2026, which covered a weekly email subscription that is no longer offered.

Closed 21 September 2026. Perch Permits no longer offers any tools. These terms are kept because they governed runs made before that date.

1. What Perch Permits is

Perch Permits publishes data tools ("Actors") on the Apify platform. Each tool takes a request, returns structured data or files, and is billed per result. This website describes the tools and links to them; the tools themselves run on Apify. By using a Perch Permits tool you agree to these terms and to Apify's own terms for its platform and store.

2. Billing

All usage is billed by Apify under its pay-per-event pricing, at the prices shown on each tool's store page. Apify processes payment, issues receipts, and enforces any spend limit you set on a run. Perch Permits never sees your payment details. There are no subscriptions, contracts, or minimums. Runs that fail validation or that are stopped by a drift guard before producing results are not charged for those results.

3. What the data is, and what it isn't

The permits tool compiles government public records: Metro Nashville's open permit data and the Metro ePermits public case search. The floor-plan tool computes outputs from the specification you provide. In both cases:

• Perch Permits republishes what the government publishes. Errors in the underlying public record will appear in the output. Missing values are returned as null, never guessed.
• Outputs are information, not advice, and are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Floor plans and takeoffs are planning aids, not construction documents; verify dimensions on site before ordering materials.
• No outcome is guaranteed. The tools identify public activity or compute a layout; they do not promise any commercial result.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perch Permits's total liability for any claim related to the tools is limited to the amount you paid for the run that gave rise to the claim.

4. Acceptable use

Use the outputs in your own products, research, and business. Do not use contact details in the data for unsolicited marketing where that is prohibited, and do not represent the outputs as originating from Metro Nashville or any government body. Do not resell raw output as a competing dataset.

5. Availability

Tools may be updated, repriced, or withdrawn. Apify notifies users of price changes in advance and shows the current price on every store page. If a tool is withdrawn, it simply stops accepting runs; nothing is owed either way.

6. Support

Support is through the Issues tab on each tool's Apify Store page. Reported problems are read and fixed on a best-effort basis.

7. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the effective date above changes when they do. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
