Terms & Conditions
Effective date: June 12, 2026
Perch Permits is a weekly subscription report of building-permit and planning/zoning information for Nashville–Davidson County, Tennessee, compiled from government public records. It is delivered by email and archived on this website. By subscribing, you agree to these terms.
Subscriptions are month-to-month with no contract and no prepayment beyond the current month. The standard price is $49 per month. Billing is handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your subscription: Stripe processes your payment, issues your receipt, and handles any payment-related questions or disputes. Perch Permits never sees or stores your card number. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal linked from your receipt, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
The first ten subscribers receive the founding rate of $25 per month. The founding rate is a price guarantee, defined as follows:
Every record in every issue is compiled from public government sources — Metro Nashville's open permit data and published planning agendas — and each record carries a reference to its source. Information that cannot be confirmed from the source record is marked "unverified," never guessed. However:
Your subscription is for your business. You may share an issue occasionally the way you'd share any newsletter, but redistributing every issue to non-subscribers, reselling the data, or scraping the archive defeats the thing you're paying for and is not permitted.
If publication is discontinued, billing stops immediately for all subscribers and the unused portion of any current billing period is refunded. You will never be charged for issues that don't arrive.
Perch Permits republishes public permit data and honors removal requests. Anyone named in a report may reply to any issue and will be removed from future issues.
These terms may be updated; material changes will be announced in the weekly issue before they take effect, and continued subscription after that constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
